Foundational Holistic Doula Care
— 1 initial interview
— 4 prenatal appointments to prepare physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually (± 2 hours each)

The same as the Foundational or Advanced Doula Service. For those who are feeling extra abundant and are willing to share some extra financial support. Your generosity is deeply appreciated, as it enables me to offer the ‘Supportive Doula Service’ to those with less financial abundance.

All of my Doula Services contain: one initial interview, several prenatal appointments with possibility to add acupuncture support, continuous personalized doula support before, during and after your birthing experience, and several postpartum visits.
In our initial interview, we will meet in person which can be at your home or somewhere else. It will be about 45-60 minutes, which will allow us to decide whether or not I will be your birth doula.
The prenatal appointments can either be be at my practice (located in Amsterdam) or at your home. I will listen and learn about your needs and wishes for your birthing experience, and any concerns or fears so we can move through them together. We can create a birthing plan together, where we will write down specific wishes regarding your birth, which you will be able to share with your birthing team. If you wish that I meet you midwife, I could accompany you to an appointment with them. During our prenatal sessions, I will also share information about the physiology of birth, different techniques, positions and exercises tailored to your needs which could be helpful during your birth. During each appointment, acupuncture is included in most of the packages, which is a full treatment for the mother to support her in a healthy pregnancy. Most importantly, it is my intention to build a trusting and supportive relationship with you so that I can provide the best possible care throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.
During the postpartum period, I will visit you several times to listen to your experience, share and connect. It is a sacred moment to reflect and integrate, and close the chapter of pregnancy and birth together to celebrate a new phase of motherhood. Moreover, during the postnatal appointments, acupuncture is also included in almost all doula care packages to support optimal postpartum recovery.
I believe it is important that everyone has the opportunity to have a doula at their birth, therefore I have created four different packages that will make that possible for everyone.
